Clear Desk Poli­cy: Unpro­tec­ted docu­ments at the work­place can very easi­ly be view­ed or copied by unaut­ho­ri­zed per­sons in your absence. The­r­e­fo­re, keep sen­si­ti­ve docu­ments in a secu­re lockable loca­ti­on while you are away.

  1. If you work with inter­nal or con­fi­den­ti­al data, you need an access sys­tem at the office door and a lockable box for the docu­ments. The fewer docu­ments you print or dupli­ca­te, the lower the attack vec­tor for infor­ma­ti­on thieves.
  2. Spe­ci­fi­cal­ly, inter­nal docu­ments must also be dis­po­sed of accor­ding to com­pa­ny spe­ci­fi­ca­ti­ons in cer­ti­fied docu­ment shred­ders or in sea­led dis­po­sal sys­tems offe­red by spe­cia­li­zed companies.
